On 26^th May, the "2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo" (referred to as "Big Data Expo") hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Guizhou Province was held in Guiyang. The "multi-scale simulation and multi-objective machine learning materials big data integration research and development platform" developed by the Beijing Computing Center was released as a leading scientific and technological achievement (new technology) during the Expo.

Relying on the key projects of key technology and support platform of national materials genetic engineering, the Beijing Computing Center has established a cluster based on material big data and high-performance computing, integrated cross-scale material software, developed high-throughput automated processes, and built an intelligent platform for multi-scale simulation and multi-objective machine learning. The R&D platform has been applied in the research and development of graphene materials, new battery materials and new energy materials, and has served more than 10 scientific research institutions and universities, including Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Technology Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Related research papers have been published in top international journals of JMAC.

Focusing on the most cutting-edge, most professional, and most disruptive technological hotspots of the times, the fair held a Leading Science and Technology Achievement Award selection activity, with more than 560 declared projects and a total of 49 awards.
