• The National Key R&D Project of the "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" Participated by the BJAST was Approved

  • On November 27th, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment held a project kick-off meeting, which is the national key research and development plan "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" special project-"Research on Intelligent Rapid Screening Technology and Prediction and Early Warning Technology of Harmful Factors in Food Supply Chain of Winter Olympics". The China Agenda 21 Management Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Beijing Winter Olympics Games Service Department, the Science and Technology Development Department of the National Health Commission, the project expert advisory group and 10 projects undertaking units participated in the meeting. The BJAST participated in the meeting as the subject and task undertaker.

    Following the participation of BJAST in applying for the 2018 and 2019 National Key R&D Program Projects "Scientific and Technological Winter Olympics", this participation in the 2020 Orientation Guide Project led by the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center was once again approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. As the project lead unit, BJAST undertakes the research work of the project five "R&D and Application Demonstration of the Winter Olympics Food Supply Chain Risk Monitoring and Early Warning Intelligent System". Researcher Liu Qingjun, deputy president of BJAST, is the project leader. At the same time, as the task undertaker, BJAST participated in part of the research work of the second project "High-efficiency enrichment of chemical hazard factors in winter Olympic food and the integration of accurate detection and verification technology" and project three "Research on rapid detection technology of winter Olympic food pathogenic microorganisms".

    The research results of this project will provide scientific and technological support for food safety assurance during the Beijing Winter Olympics.
