On 17^th December, the Beijing-Shenzhen counterpart cooperation symposium and signing ceremony were held in Shenyang. Cui Shu, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, and Zhang Lei, member of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee, attended and delivered speeches. Wang Li, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of BJAST, led a team to participate in and sign a cooperation agreement on behalf of the Zhongguancun Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "ZGCTA").

Zhang Lei expressed that Shenyang will work with Beijing to base on the existing good foundation, to focus on undertaking the deconstruction of Beijing's non-capital functions and industrial spillover, to promote the integration of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and to achieve complementary advantages and win-win development.

At the meeting, 17 cooperation industrial projects were signed. The ZGCTA, initiated by the BJAST, signed an agreement with Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone to cooperate with the strategic needs of regional coordinated development. In the future, the ZGCTA will strengthen the decision-making consulting services for the Beijing-Shenyang regional coordination development by providing development strategy and planning consulting, and help high-tech enterprises in the Shenyang Economic Development Zone to carry out innovation and creation.

On 17^th December, Cui Shuqiang led the Beijing delegation to Shenyang Zhongguancun Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center to conduct research and guidance on further promoting the Beijing-Shenyang counterpart cooperation. Cui Shuqiang, Jiang Youwei and his entourage listened to the report on cooperation between the ZGCTA and Shenyang Economic Development at the booth of BJAST. Cui Shuqiang affirmed the work done by the BJAST and the ZGCTA, and encouraged the effective promotion of the collaborative innovation of the science and technology industries in Beijing and Shenyang to serve enterprises and regional development.
