Recently, BJAST received a letter of thanks from the Office of the Organizing Committee of the ZGC Forum. The letter pointed out that during the preparation and holding of the 2020 ZGC Forum, BJAST played an important role and contributed to the forum. The organizing committee expressed its gratitude to BJAST for its support and assistance to the forum.

On September 19, the Global Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Forum of 2020ZGC Forum was co-organized by BJAST and the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy and six other units, and the 2020 Zhongguancun Forum Technology Trade Release "Connect the World·Create the Future" Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei & Israel Clean Technology Special Activity was held by the BJAST and the Institute Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (IABTH)  simultaneously. With the theme of "Gathering Global Wisdom to Lead Technological Innovation: the Voice of Global High Level Think Tanks", the Global Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Forum of 2020ZGC Forum invited well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad to give keynote speeches and high-end dialogues to provide new ideas for the construction of the national science and technology innovation center.

The holding of the the Global Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Forum of 2020ZGC Forum led to the rise of information and leading the trend of public opinion, initiated the establishment of the Zhongguancun Global High-end Think Tank Alliance Exchange Platform, published one of the results of the BJAST’s Think Tank series "China and the World under the Global Changes—Views of Internationally Renowned Experts", and completed a series of achievements including the Chinese and English website of the Global Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Forum of 2020ZGC Forum and the ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance (ZGCTA).

The 2020 Zhongguancun Forum Technology Trade Release "Connect the World·Create the Future" Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei & Israel Clean Technology Special Activity features the transformation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and international scientific and technological achievements. It focuses on the clean technology field and launches outstanding scientific and technological innovation projects from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Israel for exchanges, and by intensively displaying the latest scientific and technological innovation achievements, new business formats and new models in the field of clean technology, the activity builds a platform for sharing information, resources and results for domestic and foreign institutions, and provide support and services for promoting technological innovation and social development.
