On 22nd October, as the first event of the 36th Anniversary Science and Technology Week of BJAST, the third lecture of "BJAST Lecture Hall" was held in Beike Building. Professor Li Jinghong, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Department of Chemistry of Tsinghua University, was invited as the guest of BJAST Lecture Hall. He brought a wonderful report entitled "Single Cell Analytical Chemistry" to the academic staff. Mao Lanqun, chairman of the Academic Committee of the Academy hosted the lecture.

Academician Li Jinghong introduced the results achieved by the current research on single-cell analytical chemistry, expounded his research progress in single-molecule miRNA in situ imaging and other aspects, and analyzed the goals and challenges of future single-cell chemical analysis research. After the report, Academician Li Jinghong and the participants discussed and visited the Beijing Center for Physical & Chemical Analysis.

Zheng Huanmin, President of BJAST, communicated with Academician Li Jinghong during the meeting. They expressed cooperation intention in the fields of biomedicine, nutrition and health in the future.
