On 19th October, BJAST held the 2020 ZGC Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Think Tank Forum (hereinafter referred to as the "Think Tank Forum") work summary meeting. Secretary of Party Committee Fang Li and President Zheng Huanmin attended the meeting.

Think Tank Forum was led by BJAST and held on 19th September in conjunction with 6 institutes including the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development. According to the public opinion information technology monitoring platform of Qianlong Think Tank, one of the organizers, from 7th to 22nd September, there were 1,150 pieces of relevant information about the " Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Think Tank Forum". After the conference, the information volume of the 24 parallel forums in the ZGC Forum was compared horizontally. The ZGC Think Tank Forum ranked third and achieved good public opinion response.

The second outcome of the Think Tank Forum was BJAST combined 19 think tank units from multiple countries jointly establish the ZGC Global High-end Think Tank Alliance. BJAST was elected as the first chairman of the alliance.

The third result of the Think Tank Forum was the successful publication of one of the BJAST Think Tank achievements "China and the World under Global Change-Seeing How Famous International Experts Break the Game".

The fourth result of the Think Tank Forum was the completion of the Chinese and English websites of the ZGC Think Tank Forum and the ZGC Global High-end Think Tank Alliance.

At the forum, the leaders of each working group combined the preparatory work to make a summary report, and put forward thoughts and suggestions on how to run the next ZGC Think Tank Forum.

Fang Li pointed out that holding the think tank forum work summary meeting was of great significance. First, the ZGC Forum is a key task of the municipal party committee and government. Second, taking this forum as an opportunity, BJAST has become a member of the ZGC Forum Organizing Committee. Third, through the organization and preparation of think tank forums, the working groups of the forum office cooperated and cooperated with each other tacitly, BJAST has trained a team of talented and strong generals and formed a standardized and orderly work standard. This summary meeting will serve as a mobilization meeting for the next think tank forum. In the future, the forum office will further innovate ideas and summarize experience, and turn the think tank forum into a high-level, international and professional brand forum.
