On September 6th, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST) and the Institute Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (IABTH) held the "Connect the World · Create the Future" Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Science and Technology Achievements Application Scenarios Conference - the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Science and Technology Achievements Application Scenarios Summit, with the theme of "International Technology Transfer Enabling Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cooperation and Co-construction of Application Scenarios". The conference was hosted by Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology and Beijing Research Center for Science of Science. Zheng Huanmin, president of BJAST, Shao Jinwen and Liu Qingjun, vice presidents of BJAST attended the conference.

The conference took place on-site and online, and Liu Qingjun presided over the meeting. More than 10 guests from China, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Norway and other countries exchanged ideas on the transformation and application of international scientific and technological achievements. More than 80 domestic and overseas scientific and technical personnel, experts, scholars, government officials, business representatives and media reporters attended the conference, and 324 guests attended the online conference.

Zheng Huanmin pointed out that BJAST as a large-scale scientific research institution directly under the Beijing Municipal Government, is committed to be a bridge connecting original innovation, R&D transformation, promotion and application. On behalf of the BJAST, Shao Jinwen signed the cooperation memorandum of cooperation with 8 international institutions including Burgschild Holding and 12 domestic institutions including the APEC Technology Transfer Center to jointly build the Beijing International Technology Transfer Platform of BJAST. The related institutes will work together to build a strategic cooperation platform.

The conference invited four well-known experts in the field of technology transfer at home and abroad including Luo Hui, director of China Centre for International Science and Technology Exchange, to give keynote speeches. Representatives from Hebei Academy of Sciences and Tianjin Technology Innovation Center shared their approaches to serving the innovation and development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Eight professionals in the field of technology transfer from Capital Medical University and other institutions conducted round-table discussions on the transfer experience and application scenarios of international scientific and technological achievements.
