On September 20th, the 3rd Beijing (International) Elk Culture Conference with the theme of "Deer Power·Cultural Harmony" was held by Beijing Elk Garden Museum.

Zheng Huanmin, President of BJAST stated in his speech that BJAST will make use of the advantages of Beijing's scientific research institutions, combine with elk ecological resource endowment, lead by the needs of the capital, drive by the integration of culture and technology, and rely on the construction of the Xishan Yongding River Cultural Belt, to promote the innovation, dissemination and cultivation of elk culture. Leaders as Cheng Donghong, director of Chinese Association of Natural Science Museums, expressed in their speeches that, through this activity, they hope to fully explore the cultural value carried by the elk, build a harmonious elk ecological cultural system between man and nature, and provide ideological guarantee, spiritual motivation and intellectual support to better protect the elk and even build the ecological civilization.

Shao Jinwen, vice president of BJAST, started the launch of the "Beijing Elk Garden Museum Mini Program". At the meeting, the "Daxing Elk Cultural and Creative Alliance" was established and the excellent winning entries of the "One Deer Have You" Elk Cultural and Creative Competition were announced. Entry "Elk Pen Holder" from Beijing Elk Garden Museum won the second prize in the competition.

On the same day, the Elk Cultural and Creative Fair was held.

Bai Jiade, director of Beijing Elk Garden Museum and Duan Jinao, director of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine Collaboration Center, signed the contract on behalf of their respective institutions to jointly promote the medical research and development of elk and the healthy and sustainable development of elk population.

The 35th anniversary of the return of the elk commemorative postal package was released for the first time. The "Hundred Achievements of the 35th Anniversary of China's Elk Protection" commemorative book was released at the same time. The hundred achievements exhibition for the 35th anniversary of the return of elk was opened at the same time as the conference. Bai Jiade and Yan Xun gave keynote speeches respectively. Wang Song, researcher of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced the story of return of the elk through video. Duke of Befort, Ubon Temple Manor of United Kingdom, sent a congratulatory letter.
