On September 19th, the 2020 Zhongguancun Forum Technology Trade Release "Connect the World·Create the Future" Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei & Israel Clean Technology Special Activity was successfully held at the Zhongguancun  Exhibition Center. This event was hosted by Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST) and the Institute Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (IABTH), the event supported by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, the Israel Innovation Authority, and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park. Shao Jinwen, deputy president of BJAST, and Wu Cheng, deputy director-general of China Science and Technology Exchange Center, attended and delivered speeches. Avi Luvton,, the acting VP of the international collaborations division of Israel Innovation Authority, gave an online speech.

The event was undertaken by Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology and Beijing Research Center for Science of Science, and was conducted online and offline. More than 10 domestic and overseas guests from Israel, Chinese Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei conducted exchanges in the field of clean technology. More than 80 domestic and international scientific and technical personnel, experts, scholars, government officials, business representatives and media reporters attended the meeting, and 407 guests participated in the event online.

Shao Jinwen pointed out that he hopes to showcase high-quality projects through the activity, to share new ideas, new technologies, and new solutions, to promote international cooperation and innovative development, and to jointly serve the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the construction of Beijing's National Science and Technology Innovation Center. Wu Cheng pointed out that China and Israel have a good foundation for cooperation and have jointly held the China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2017. The 4 Israeli projects participated in this roadshow were from the winning results of the China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

During the event, a total of 9 scientific and technological achievements in the field of green technology from Israel, Chinese Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei were released. At the same time, four experts in this field including Feng Wujun, vice president of the Tsinghua Energy and Environment Research Institute, were invited to comment. After the meeting, guests from the park, enterprises, scientific research institutions, and investment institutions conducted business exchanges with the roadshow project teams.
