Since June 10, Zheng Huanmin, President of BJAST, has conducted investigation on some affiliated units in the form of on-site meetings or video meetings, listened to their work reports, guided the innovation and development work, and communicated with members of leading groups, representatives of researchers and management representative.

Mr. Zheng listened to reports from eight units, including the Science Center, on epidemic prevention and control, general situation of the units and scientific and technological innovation. Proceeding from the reality of innovation and development, the participants communicated opinions and suggestions on the positioning and objectives of the unit.

Mr. Zheng pointed out that affiliated units should consolidate the good situation of pandemic prevention and control, fully understand the urgency and significance of innovation and development, make great efforts in scientific research with indomitable spirit, as well as focus on the key tasks of innovation and development. In order to helping the capital's high-quality development with high-level innovation achievements, we should explore the mechanism featured with "striving for one direction, mutual connectivity and linkage, and collaborative innovation" between the affiliated units and enterprises, form a coordinated and unified innovation chain, and transform the potential energy of diversified innovation resources into the efficiency of overall innovation and development of BJAST.
