On December 26, BJAST held the "Innovation Forum for Analysis and Test & Inaugural Ceremony of Innovation Center for Analysis and Test" and leaders from Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and other department and well-known experts and enterprise representatives in the field attended this event. Fang Li, Secretary of Party Committee of BJAST, Guo Guangsheng, president of BJAST and Lu Yuguo, a leader of BJAST were present at this event.

Guo Guangsheng announced the establishment of the "Innovation Center for Analysis and Test of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology" and delivered a speech. He pointed out that BJAST should strengthen exchanges and cooperation with partners, work together to explore new concepts, systems and models for analysis and test, do well in sharing of scientific and technological resources, proactively contribute to the construction of the National Science and Technology Innovation Center and the high-quality development of Beijing, and provide more powerful scientific and technological support to build Beijing into a world-class, harmonious and livable capital city.

Fang Li and Guo Guangsheng inaugurated the center, and launched the center together with Lu Yuguo and other leaders. Professor Zhang Xinrong was appointed as the director of the first Expert Committee of the center, and Mao Lanqun, a research fellow as the director of the first Management Committee of the center.

After the ceremony, Professor Zhang Xinrong, Wan Yuping, general manager of Beijing Kwinbon Biotechnology Co., Ltd, and Zhang Qinghe, a research fellow of National Institute of Metrology, China made a special report of the Unicellular High-throughput Mass Spectrometry, the Development Trend and Application of Rapid Detection Technology for Agricultural Residues and the Establishment of Chemical Measurement Traceability System respectively at invitation. Their reports provided important messages for scientific and technical personnel of BJAST to learn about scientific and technological progress in the analysis and test field and also frontiers of science and technology.
