• The Lilac highland Barley Noodle Developed by the Beijing Institute of Nutritional Resources Won the "Science and Technology Innovation Award" of the 2nd ICC Asia Pacific Grain Conference

  • The 2nd ICC Asia Pacific Grain Conference, jointly organized by the International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) and Tianjin University of Commerce (TJCU), was held from November 8 to 9. 100 experts from major universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises at home and abroad made special reports, and more than 2,000 people engaged in grain research and grain and oil industry at home and abroad listened to the study and participated in the exchange. The purpose of the conference is to promote the sustainable development and scientific and technological innovation of the grain and oil industry. Academic exchanges and technical discussions will be held around the topics of "grain processing, grain storage and safety, grain nutrition and deep processing, oil science and technology, and development of beans and potato foods". The conference will be divided into four scientific and technological forums to be held simultaneously.

    Qinghai Xindingxiang Grain and Oil Company Limited, a cooperative enterprise of the Beijing Institute of Nutritional Resources and an established enterprise in Qinghai Province that mainly focuses on grain and grain processing and production, participated in the whole process of the conference. The participants presented a series of highland barley products such as newly developed highland barley noodle. Highland barley, rich in nutrients such as β-glucan, high protein, high vitamins, high fiber, low fat, and low sugar, attracted many delegates and won high praise from experts and scholars. The newly developed highland barley noodle products of Qinghai Xindingxiang Grain and Oil Company Limited were awarded the Science and Technology Innovation Award at this conference. As the technical support unit of the company's project, a professional scientific research team from the Beijing Institute of Nutritional Resources has been committed to the research and development of highland barley product nutrition formula technology.
