• BJAST 2019 "Key Technologies for Resilient City Construction and Risk Assessment" Training in Germany Was Successfully Completed

  • From October 27 to November 16, a 15-member training delegation from the BJAST on "Key Technologies for Resilient City Construction and Risk Assessment" successfully completed a 21-day overseas training mission in Germany. Organized by the Training Center of our Academy,

    this training is planned under the strategic layout of Beijing to comprehensively promote the construction of a resilient city and strengthen the building of our Academy's Urban Safety and Governance Innovation Center, with the aim to learn and introduce Germany's advanced management concepts and achievements under the theme of "Key Technologies for Resilient City Construction and Risk Assessment", so as to further enhance our scientific research capability and internationalization level in the field of urban safety and governance. Through this training, the trainees benefited greatly, further deepening their understanding of resilient city construction in the field of public security and finding new ideas for work.

    In addition to classroom learning at the headquarters of the Karl Duisburg Public Welfare Center in Cologne, Germany, on-site teaching of the training was also conducted in relevant government departments, scientific research institutions, universities, associations, etc. Through the combination of classroom and on-site teaching, the trainees learned the development model of Germany's resilient cities.

    They further realized that urban resilience in the field of public safety, as a theoretical concept, is gradually being recognized in the world and is playing an increasingly important role in practice.
