On November 25, the theoretical edition of Beijing Daily published a theoretical article written by Professor Guo Guangsheng, academic leader of the "BJAST Base" and President of the BJAST, and Jia Pinrong, researcher of the Beijing Research Center for Science of Science -Focus of High-quality Economic Development in Beijing.

In this article, the authors try to construct an index system of high-quality economic development based on economic growth, structural optimization, efficiency promotion and innovation drive to evaluate Beijing's high-quality economic development. Analytical results indicate, innovation drive and economic growth are the core driving forces for Beijing's high-quality economic development, and the former is the most important power source for Beijing's high-quality development; in the coming period, promoting structural optimization and efficiency promotion is the focus for Beijing to further enhance its high-quality economic development level. In this article, the fact is put forward that "consolidating advantages, reinforcing foundation and strengthening areas of weakness" are the strategic focus of Beijing's high-quality economic development, and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are made.
