Recently, the results of the 2019 Capital Labor Award’s selection and recognition work were announced, and Beijing Research Center for Science of Science was awarded the title of “Capital Labor Award”.

In the selection work, the Party Committee of the academy attached great importance to it, and the Labor Union of the academy actively organized and implemented the selection and recommendation work. Through the democratic recommendation of the unit to which it belong, the collective research and decision of the leadership team, and publicity and other procedures within the scope of the unit, the Beijing Research Center for Science of Science was recommended as a candidate collective. After being evaluated by the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, the Beijing Research Center for Science of Science finally won the honorary title. As a think tank, the Center has undertaken many major scientific research projects in recent years and has achieved fruitful scientific research results. Seven research reports were approved by leaders of Cai Qi, Chen Jining, Yin Hejun and Yin Yong respectively. Two theoretical articles were published in Guangming Daily. Besides, a number of policy suggestions were adopted by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, and the construction leading group office of the Beijing Municipal Urban-rural Continuum as well as other departments, thus providing decision support for the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government in the fields of national science and technology innovation center construction, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, capital green development, and coordinated urban-rural development, etc.
