On July 3, Guo Guangsheng, president of the BJAST, led a team to the Beijing Electronics Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “BEZ Group”) to carry out research and exchange on the construction of mass innovation space and deepening cooperation between the two sides. Gong Xiaoqing, Party Secretary and President of the BEZ Group, Shen Ronghui, Vice President, and Yang Xia, Assistant President attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Gong Xiaoqing gave a detailed introduction to the BEZ Group and expressed his hope to carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation with the BJAST.

Guo Guangsheng expressed appreciation for the achievements of BEZ Group and introduced the reform and development of the BJAST. He pointed out that the BJAST is the only large-scale comprehensive scientific research institution in Beijing, and the BEZ Group is the implementing body of the development and construction of the Electronic City Science Park in Zhongguancun Science Park, the concrete work of attracting investment and the renovation and construction of the old industrial base of Beijing Electronic City. He pointed out that the two sides should further deepen their cooperation, closely focus on the strategic positioning and development requirements of the capital, jointly serve the construction of high-tech industrial structure, and carry out strategic planning and policy research around the development of the electronic information industry. Moreover, the two sides should give full play to their respective advantages, build a high-level innovation platform, build a high-level mass innovation space, and jointly make greater contributions to the construction of the national science and technology innovation center.
