On May 24, Guo Guangsheng, the President of BJAST, led a delegation to the Beijing Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang to hold a discussion and sign a strategic cooperation agreement on the cooperation between the two sides in scientific and technological innovation think tanks. Wang Hong, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, vice-mayor of Beijing and chairman of Beijing Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, main leaders of Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Yao Weihai and Shao Jinwen, the vice-presidents (temporary) of BJAST attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Shao Jinwen and Yao Weihai respectively signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Beijing Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang on behalf of BJAST. In line with the principle of "equality and mutual benefit, sincere cooperation, complementary advantages and common development", the two sides will strengthen research and cooperation of science and technology innovation think tanks and jointly carry out research on innovation strategies in the fields of culture, science and technology education and other fields to carry out forward-looking research on issues.

Guo Guangsheng thanked the Beijing Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang for its support for the work of the BJAST and Yao Weihai for his contribution to the work of the BJAST during his tenure as vice president of the BJAST. He pointed out that in the future, the BJAST will take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity to fully implement the strategic agreement in accordance with the instructions of Vice Mayor Wang Hong, closely communicate and cooperate with the Beijing Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, strengthen cooperation in science and technology innovation think tanks and other aspects, and better serve the government, enterprises and the public.

Wang Hong said that the BJAST has played an active role in the construction of the national science and technology innovation center and has made its due contribution to the scientific decision-making of the municipal party committee and government by focusing on the capital's high-quality development and in-depth research in high-tech and urban governance fields. She hopes to strengthen cooperation in the future and offers advice and suggestions for the municipal government.
