Liu Qingjun, Vice President of the BJAST, led a team of experts from the Academy to Spain and Serbia to carry out scientific and technological exchanges and discuss cooperation with relevant universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises, actively implement the eight actions of Belt and Road, promote scientific and technological innovation and people-to-people exchanges, and achieved fruitful results. Dr. Liu Xiangwen, Associate Researcher Hu Guanghui and Associate Researcher Wang Xinxin of the Institute of Analysis and Testing joined in academic exchange activities with various institutions and actively explore opportunities for scientific and technological cooperation, which enhanced mutual understanding, deepened the friendship between the two sides, and laid the foundation for cooperation.

Through this visit, we have promoted communication and exchanges with many institutions in Spain and Serbia, gained a more intuitive understanding of local science and technology, education and culture, deeply understood the differences and commonalities between China and European countries, broadened our horizons, and opened up ideas for future scientific and technological work. Taking advantage of the favorable opportunity of the Belt and Road Initiative, the academy will deeply integrate into the construction of the Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center and the global science and technology innovation chain with practical actions, promote the deepening of scientific and technological exchanges with countries and regions along the Belt and Road, open a window of opportunity and provide a source of power for promoting common development, so that China's high-quality development and scientific and technological innovation achievements can benefit more countries and people.
