On April 26, the 37th joint meeting of the national provincial (municipal, autonomous region) academies of sciences was held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. 18 academies of Science and Technology exchanged views on the new ideas, practices and new experiences in serving regional economic and social development through scientific and technological innovation, and the experience and achievements of cooperative innovation and win-win cooperation. Zheng Xin, member of the leading party members’ group and vice president of the BJAST, led the team to attend the meeting and made a report entitled "Fully Integrating into the Construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center and Serving the Social and Economic Development of the Capital". From the aspects of historical evolution, development positioning, development priorities, scientific research platform, and talent team construction, the report focuses on the practical experience of the institutional reform, the layout of scientific research and innovation in "424", the reform of the scientific and technological system and mechanism, and trials of reform.
