On April 20, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Research Institute Intellectual Property Training Course, hosted by the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and the BJAST, was launched online. Zheng Xin, member of the leading party members’ group and vice president of the BJAST,  first-class researcher Xu Hailong, Director of the Intellectual Property Use Promotion Division of the Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Hou Tongxiao, Chairman and General Manager of Beijing BJAST Holdings Co., Ltd., and Sun Shida, Deputy Secretary-general of China Association of Small and Medium-sized Commercial Enterprises attended the meeting. Under the theme of "Application of Patents in the Transfer and Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements", a total of 2,082 researchers from universities and research institutes in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and leaders of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises from all over the country participated in the training online.

Zheng Xine hoped that the participants could grasp this training opportunity, seriously learn professional knowledge in the field of intellectual property, strive to enhance their intellectual property awareness and scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and make greater contributions to scientific and technological innovation and intellectual property work in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

Xu Hailong expressed the hope that the BJAST and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Research Institute Intellectual Property Use Alliance will give full play to the advantages and platform role of scientific research, make full use of policy support, jointly promote the sharing of intellectual property resources, promote the formation of a new joint force for the development of intellectual property in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and provide more effective support for the coordinated development of intellectual property in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
