In order to further promote the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and strengthen the promotion of scientific and technological achievements, Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology (BECST) gave full play to the functions of the secretariat of the Institute Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region (IABTH), a series of "Connect the World· Create the Future" events were successfully held during the 2020 China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services and the 2020 ZGC Forum Technology Trade Conference. 33 international and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei scientific and technological achievements were released. 10 achievements from IABTH were forwarded to the event organizer of “Top 100 Projects of Leading Technology in Industry Innovation” at the 2020 ZGC Forum Technology Trade Conference. Three items were successfully selected, including microbial in-situ solidification and ecological restoration technology for heavy metal pollution from Grinm Group Corporation Limited, EPRILI Intelligent Operation Management System for Large-scale Biogas Project from Environmental Protection Research Institute of Light Industry of BJAST and biomass pellet molding equipment from the Institute of Applied Mathematics of Hebei Academy of Sciences.

This Top 100 Projects of Leading Technology in Industry Innovation event focused on four major areas: artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, biotechnology and health, energy conservation and environmental protection and green innovation, new generation information technology and smart transportation, facing 30 countries and regions around the world. More than 1,800 foreign projects and more than 600 Chinese projects were solicited. The projects of the list were reviewed and selected from these projects by nearly 100 domestic and foreign experts.
