• China and Pakistan Jointly Organized a Special Training on "Big Data for Enterprises under Major Epidemic Prevention and Control: Application Models and Experience Sharing"

  • On October 29 and November 3, the BJAST and the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association jointly organized a special training on "Big Data for Enterprises under Major Epidemic Prevention and Control: Application Models and Experience Sharing". The training adopts a combination of online and offline methods, relying on the 2020 China Association for Science and Technology "Belt and Road" International Science and Technology Organization Cooperation Platform Construction Project, led by the Division of International Cooperation of BJAST,  and jointly undertaken by Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center Co., Ltd. and the Training Center of BJAST. More than 20 international employees from Chinese companies in Pakistan participated in the training.

    At the opening ceremony, Jia Wei, First Secretary of the Science and Technology Department of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, Gong Dahui, Secretary-General of the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association, Wang Qinglin, Vice Minister of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, and Fang Li, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of BJAST delivered speeches. Leaders participating in the meeting expressed that the training of scientific and technological innovation talents will provide new measures to continuously deepen the understanding and mutual trust of international scientific research institutions, and effectively promote the "Belt and Road" scientific and technological exchanges.

    The training invited four experts, including Wang Pu, founder and chief expert of Peking University's Zongheng Management Consulting Group and other three experts, to provide the report separately on "Management in the Big Data Era", "How Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Help Enterprise Patent Management", "Big Data Helps the Transformation and Upgrade of Traditional Enterprises under the Epidemic" and "Intelligent Transformation and Anti-epidemic Ziguang". The training content is closely linked to social hot spots, combined with big data anti-epidemic measures and experience, and provides useful reference for the strategic transformation of enterprises in the post-epidemic era and the promotion of digital upgrades.

    Participating Pakistani trainees praised the high-level science and technology training and expressed gratitude to the organizers.
