From 15th to 28th September, Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and BJAST jointly organized Beijing Intellectual Property Specialist Training from 15th to 28th September. Li Zhong, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and first-level inspector, and Shao Jinwen, vice president of BJAST, attended and delivered speeches.

Shao Jinwen said that in recent years, under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, BJAST has continuously optimized the working mechanism, improved the intellectual property work system, strengthened the usage of intellectual property, realized the whole-process management of intellectual property creation, application and protection, and striven to improve the effectiveness of intellectual property work. The conducting of Beijing intellectual property specialist training in BJAST is not only an important measure to implement the strategic cooperation agreement between our institute and Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, and to strengthen the construction of Beijing intellectual property application practice base, but also the practice to implement the "Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection" and the "Action Plan on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection".

Li Zhong pointed out that the Beijing Intellectual Property Specialist Training has given full play to the role of Beijing Intellectual Property Practice Base which was jointly built by the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and BJAST. Next year, the scope of training will be further expanded to cover the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to serve the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Subsequently, Xu Hailong, Director of the Application Promotion Division of Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, introduced the work of Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office. Experts on the National Intellectual Property Utilization Public Service Platform tought and interacted on the legal basis of intellectual property rights. After the study, 54 students passed the written examination. Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and BJAST will jointly issue the "Beijing Intellectual Property Commissioner’s Training Qualification Certificate" which will be included in the advanced intellectual property cultivation system.
