BJAST initiated this plan since 2020, and has carried out the connection maintenance and expansion of international partners in an orderly manner. Since the beginning of the year, the Division of International Cooperation of BJAST has re-collected and re-sorted our international partners, formulated a partner expansion and maintenance plan, and with the help of the Academy, we jointly organized and completed the donation of anti-epidemic masks and delivered Go-Global Chinese-English bilingual electronic newsletters and the first holiday greeting materials to our international partners and so on.

The connection and maintenance work of international partners mainly focuses on two aspects. On the one hand, we regularly track and collect important work trends and scientific research outcomes of BJAST, edit and send Chinese-English bilingual electronic newsletters to international partners, and enhance the understanding and trust between BJAST and its international partners. As of the end of May, the premier special issue of the bilingual newsletters has been sent to more than 200 international partners in 53 countries and regions. On the other hand, we send greeting massages to deepen our international friendships in accordance with international customs and their local cultures where our partners are located. On May 24, Lesser Bairam became the first festival that BJAST send greetings to our international friends, and we sent greeting emails and greeting cards to 15 partner institutions from 10 countries.
