On May 21, Liu Junsheng, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of Municipal Party Committee, started investigation symposium at our academy on the construction of Beijing Research Center of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Research Base of BJAST, and Beijing Decision-making Consultant Center. Fang Li, Secretary of the party group of the academy, was the host of the forum, and Wang Li, Deputy Secretary of the party group of the academy, participated in the forum.

Wang Li introduced the achievements of BJAST Base and BJAST Think Tank in consolidating the organizational leadership, promoting theoretical and practical research on scientific and technological innovation. Besides, Wang Li made in-depth communication on the key points and ideas of the following work.

After listening to the introduction, Liu Junsheng gave full appreciation upon the achievements acquired by BJAST Base and BJAST Think Tank from five aspects, such as the solid foundation and strong strength. While at the same time, Liu Junsheng has raised requirements and suggestions on six aspects, including forming a long-term perspective as well as designing the layout at the strategic level, etc.

Fang Li noted that the Publicity Department of Municipal Party Committee's approval of the establishment of BJAST Base and BJAST Think Tank is the recognition of BJAST's theoretical and decision-making research. This will promote the development of soft science research of BAST. In the days ahead, BJAST will continue to follow the requirements made by the Publicity Department of Municipal Party Committee, integrate well the internal and external resources of BJAST to satisfy the research needs raised by the Publicity Department of Municipal Party Committee and others, to organize well the ZGC Forum to expand its influence, and to make more contributions to the functional construction of the "Four Centers" and the high-quality development of the capital.
