On April 3, Wang Yiming, member of the national committee of CPPCC and former Deputy Director of Development Research Center of the State Council participated in the opening conference of "BJAST Scholars" under the title of Evaluation and Development Strategy Research of Beijing High-grade, Precision and Advanced Industry.

Before the conference, Fang Li, Secretary of Party Committee of BJAST accompanied Wang Yiming to visit the showrooms and introduced the research development and talent team construction of BJAST. Fang Li said that BJAST pay much attention to the talent team construction, and is building the high-quality talent system including the "BJAST Scholars", "BJAST Distinguished Young Scholars" and "High-quality Innovation Team", to create a research team composing of influential scholars with high academic level.

At the conference, Zhang Shiyun, the secretary of party general branch of the Beijing Research Center for Science of Science held the conference. "BJAST Scholar" Jia Pinrong reported the project purpose, research thought, research scheme, further research plan, expected innovation points, characteristics and research team. Zhao Hong, Vice President of Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, President of Zhongguancun Innovation and Development Research Institute and other people made the speeches.

Research fellow Wang Yiming pointed out his opinions on strengthening ecological construction of the high-grade, precision and advanced industry, and Wang Li, tutor of BJAST put forward suggestions on improving team construction of the project. The expert panel agreed to start the project.
