In order to further strengthen the city's high-level, urgently needed talent training and key professional and technical personnel training, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau organized the evaluation and recognition of the third batch of continuing education bases for professional and technical personnel in Beijing. After the unit's application, organization recommendation, on-site inspection, expert evaluation and other comprehensive evaluations, BJAST is recognized as the "Continuing Education Base for Professionals and Technical Personnel in Beijing".

In recent years, the continuing education work of BJAST has achieved good results. It has received funding of 3 national advanced training projects including "Big Data Application Mode in Major Epidemic Prevention and Control", and 12 municipal advanced training projects including "Frontier Research on the Application of Bio-informatics and Biomedical Research", which involve multiple topic areas such as disaster prevention and mitigation, biotechnology, information technology, and artificial intelligence. The recognition as the "Continuing Education Base for Professionals and Technical Personnel in Beijing" is a reaffirmation of the comprehensive scientific research strength of BJAST.
