On December 5, Sergio Cavalieri, President of the University of Bergamo, and Wang Jian, an expert from the China-Italian Joint Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing (CI-LAM), visited the BJAST. Shao Jinwen, member of the leading party members’ group and vice president of the BJAST, attended the meeting and exchanged views on personnel exchange visits and joint research, and Li Junkai, director of the International and Regional Cooperation Center, presided over the meeting.

Sergio Cavalieri briefly introduced University of Bergamo and CI-LAM, and said that he attaches great importance to international scientific and technological cooperation, and hopes to carry out in-depth scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation with BJAST in the future. Shao Jinwen gave an in-depth introduction to the development orientation and key development direction of the BJAST. The two sides expressed the hope that in the future, they can carry out practical cooperation with the BJAST in key areas such as engineering manufacturing, biological health, ecological and environmental protection, and digitalization in the exchange of scientific research personnel and joint project research.
