•  BJAST Joined the Capital Landscaping Science and Technology Innovation Alliance

    On December 18, the Capital Landscaping Science and Technology Innovation Alliance initiated by the Beijing Municipal Forest and Parks Bureau was officially launched. Based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual promotion, close cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win", the alliance is jointly established by 25 universities and research institutes, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Forestry University, and BJAST, which will jointly solve a number of key and difficult problems in the high-quality development of landscaping in the capital, promote landscaping scientific research, achievement transformation, scientific popularization and talent training, and promote new and excellent scientific and technological achievements to take root in the land of Beijing, contributing to the construction of ecological civilization in the capital. Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of the leading party members’ group and President of the BJAST, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

    Wu Jianmin pointed out that as a member of the Capital Landscaping Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, BJAST will actively work with other member units in the alliance to carry out joint research, create special bases, provide expert think tanks, share scientific and technological resources, integrate excellent scientific and technological achievements to activate the city's landscaping space, jointly solve a number of key and difficult scientific and technological problems in the construction of global forest cities and garden cities, and provide scientific and technological support and services for the high-quality development of the capital's landscaping.
