On May 30, the 2023 ZGC International Technology Trade Fair-The Pharmaceutical and Health-care Industry International Innovation Conference was successfully held. The event was jointly sponsored by BJAST, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing "Two Districts" Work Leading Group Office, Beijing Changping District People's Government and China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers.

Under the theme of "International and Regional Collaborative Science and Technology Empower Health", the event gathered the advantageous scientific and technological resources at home and abroad, mainly in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, displayed the latest scientific and technological innovation achievements, new formats and new models, built a platform for information, resources and achievements sharing and matching for domestic and foreign institutions, promoted international technology transactions and supply and demand matching, and provided support and services for promoting the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and health-care industry and promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. Nearly 200 scientific and technological experts, well-known scholars, government officials, representatives of international organizations and enterprises from China, Israel, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries were invited to attend the meeting.

Fang Li, Secretary of the leading party members’ group of BJAST, attended the event and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the pharmaceutical and health-care industry is a new engine of global economic development, and international cooperation will help promote the breakthrough of new technologies and the development of new markets, bringing new development opportunities for scientific and technological innovation, and it is also the key direction of China's strategic emerging industries, and one of the "dual engines" to promote Beijing's innovation and development. He hoped to take the opportunity of this event to build a platform for sharing information, resources and achievements for domestic and foreign institutions, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and technology transactions, and jointly contribute wisdom and strength to promoting the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and health-care industry and the construction of a global community of health for all.
