On April 7, the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and the BJAST held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. Shao Jinwen, member of the leading party members’ group and vice president of the BJAST, Guo Hanqiao, member of the Social Work Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and deputy director of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, and relevant participants attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Shao Jinwen first introduced the Institute of Smart Aging of the BJAST and focused on the achievements made in pension policy research, technology development, science popularization, international and cross-strait cooperation in actively coping with the aging of the population. Shao Jinwen pointed out that this cooperation has far-reaching strategic significance and will be a new beginning for the two sides to complement each other's advantages, share information, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. The BJAST will actively give full play to its own think tank advantages, talent advantages and technical advantages to provide strong support in the field of elderly care services for the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau.

Guo Hanqiao highly praised the meaningful and valuable scientific research achievements made by the Beijing Academy of Sciences in the field of smart elderly care for more than ten years, and looked forward to promoting the city's elderly care work to a new height and opening a new chapter through this cooperation.
