On November 4, aiming to further high-quality
development, the Forum of "Chinese Path to Modernization: High Quality
Development of Urban Agglomeration" hosted by BJAST was held. Peng Sen,
former Vice Director of the National Development and Reform Commission and Chairman
of the China Society of Economic Reform, delivered a speech. Wang Dongjing, a
famous economist, former Vice President of the Central Party School (National School
of Administration), and Member of the Finance and Economic Committee of the
National People's Congress, delivered a special report. Fang Li, Secretary of
the Leading Party Members’ Group of the BJAST, delivered a speech. Wu Jianmin,
Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and President of the BJAST,
presided over the meeting.
Jia Pinrong, a "Scholar of BJAST" and director
of the Institute's High Quality Development Research Center, issued the Report
on High Quality Development and Influence of China's Three Urban
Agglomerations. The report constructs a high-quality development and influence
evaluation system of urban agglomeration with 31 indicators from six dimensions
of economy, society, ecology, innovation, culture and governance, and compares
the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Beijing Tianjin Hebei urban
agglomeration.

Beijing Radio and TV Station reported the Report on the High Quality
Development and Influence of China's Three Urban Agglomerations. Science and
Technology Daily, People's Daily, Xinhuanet, China.com and other mainstream
media in the capital reported the forum immediately.
