The 2022 International Competition of Autonomous Running Robots was successfully held at the Beijing Science Center from August 26 to 28. This competition themed by "Self-reliance and Empower the Future" was hosted by Beijing Association of Science and Technology and BJAST. Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of Leading Party Members’ Group and President, and Wei Wanshun, member of Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of BJAST attended the competition and the unveiling ceremony of the BJAST-Zhaoyi Innovation Remote Autonomous Running Robot Chip Application Laboratory.

The Competition as an international competition platform in artificial intelligence, was built for the construction of Beijing's international science and technology innovation center and the development needs of high-precision industries, focusing on the cultivation of cutting-edge scientific and technological talents, and giving full play to the advantages of academic resources. The establishment of the Laboratory will consolidate the technical achievements, accumulate the innovative application of chips and artificial intelligence technology, and explore the innovative application of chip technology to promote autonomous running robots. It will gather domestic and foreign scientific researchers to carry out collaborative application innovation work, and connect young students' competitions with corporate needs to discover young talents and serve enterprises to enhance their technological innovation capabilities.
