On August 9, Wang Jianping, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of Henan Institute of Geology, led a team to visit BJAST again for discussion and exchanges to accelerate the cooperation between the two sides. Shao Jinwen, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and vice president of the BJAST, presided over the meeting.

The two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation and accelerating the implementation of work in relevant fields, and discussed the specific details of signing the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides in depth. Shao pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides is based on win-win cooperation, which is conducive to the improvement of scientific research strength of BJAST in targeting at needs such as national strategy, improvement of people's livelihood, and environmental protection. In addition, BJAST will actively play its role as a communication bridge between institutes in Beijing and Henan Institute of Geology, help Henan Province overcome technical problems in industrial development for serving national, industrial and regional economic and social development in a better way.
