The expert seminar on Disaster Risk Response under Climate Change jointly organized by the Institute of Urban Systems Engineering of BJAST, the Community Safety Committee of China Society of Emergency Management, the Risk Governance Innovation Research Center of Beijing Normal University and the Emergency Management Research Base of Tsinghua University was successfully held on May 12, the 14th National Day of Disaster Prevention and Reduction.

The seminar discussed the construction of disaster risk prevention and emergency response systems in the new era from the perspective of systematic cognition, effective response and innovative development. With a prominent theme, this seminar clearly conducted a comprehensive discussion from the perspective of the government, industry, social organizations, the public and other subjects, as well as disaster response groups such as rural areas, communities and children. It is of great value to the innovation and development of the emergency system.
