On May 18, the Hi-Tech Development Office and the Institute of Resources and Environment of BJAST jointly held an academic video conference on carbon neutralization, and invited Researcher Cheng Tinghai and Dr. Yu Xin from Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were invited to make a report. Wei Wanshun, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice President of the BJAST, attended the report meeting. Researcher Cheng Tinghai and Dr. Yu Xin delivered impressive reports on energy collection, intelligent sensing, triboelectric nanogenerator, etc. The two academic reports not only introduced the cutting-edge theories and methods, but also analyzed  the actual situation, so that the participants fully understood the latest research progress and application direction of friction triboelectric nanogenerator.

Wei Wanshun pointed out in his concluding remarks that the two have made useful explorations in direction, multidisciplinary and mechanism of research, which is worth learning from. He stressed that following relevant discussions on carbon neutralization technology cooperation with Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Key Laboratory of Shallow Geothermal Energy of the Ministry of Natural Resources in April, the BJAST will strengthen various communication and exchange, promote further deepening of relevant cooperation, promote the three parties to jointly build a carbon neutralization Research Center, and make positive contributions to the realization of China's carbon peak and carbon neutralization goals.
