The Institute of Analysis and Testing of the BJAST received the Science and Technology Award certificate issued by the Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineers. The Environmental Pollution Analysis and Control Group from the  Institute of Analysis and Testing of the BJAST  participated in the project "Key Technology and Application of Cabin Air Quality Assessment and Control", which  won the Second Prize of Science and Technology award of The Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineers in 2021 (Achievement No. 2021XH-32). It was led by the 71st Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, and completed jointly with Tianjin University. The project has formed 2 relevant standards, authorized more than 20 patents, and published more than 10 papers.

The Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineers is set by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited for institutes and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to promote the development of ship and ocean engineering science and technology in China. It is approved by the state science and technology awards office social science and technology award with extensive representativeness.
