On March 10, in order to implement the deployment requirements of the leading Party group of BJAST and serve the functional construction of Beijing's "Four Centers", Liu Ziliang, member of the leading Party Group of the BJAST, led the heads of the BJAST's Science Communication Center, International and Regional Cooperation Center, Beijing Science and Technology Publishing Co., Ltd., Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center Co., Ltd. to the Beijing Association for Science and Technology for exchange and discussion on cooperation. Meng Fanxing, member of the leading Party group and vice chairman of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, presided over the discussion.

At the meeting, the two sides introduced to each other the  characteristic science popularization resources, science popularization activities, international scientific and technological cooperation and scientific and technological services, and deeply discussed the ideas and practical paths of improving citizens' scientific literacy, building the popular science brand of the capital as a whole, internationalization of scientific and technological exchanges and integration of science and technology into media communication.

Liu Ziliang thanked the association for its long-term strong support to the BJAST. In the future, focusing on the key tasks of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, the BJAST will continue to strengthen the connection with the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, give full play to the advantages of science popularization working mechanisms and system, science popularization resources, talent team and practical experience, and work together with the Beijing Association for Science and Technology to contribute to the construction of Beijing international science and technology innovation center.
