On 15th January, “Creating China’s Digital Future through Science and Technology” Zhongguancun Digital Economy-Shenyang Forum and the second anniversary of the establishment of Shenyang Zhongguancun Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center was successfully held in Shenyang. More than 200 people including leaders of relevant departments in Beijing and Shenyang, well-known experts and scholars, enterprises and people from all walks of life attended the conference.

Wu Jianmin, deputy secretary of leading party members’ group and president of the BJAST analyzed the relevant content of Beijing's implementation plan to accelerate the construction of a global digital economy benchmark city and the "Digital Shenyang" construction action plan in his speech. He pointed out that the BJAST will further expand the breadth and depth of cooperation with the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, and effectively promote the high-quality development of Beijing-Shenyang paired cooperation.

The BJAST and Sino-German (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park Management Committee held a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony. Li Junkai, director of the International and Regional Cooperation Center of the BJAST, presided over the Zhongguancun Digital Economy-Shenyang Forum on Innovation and Cooperation. The BJAST co-organized the Zhongguancun Digital Economy-Shenyang Forum of "Trends in Running Institutes, Digital Creation of the Future", and invited well-known experts to exchange ideas and opinions on deepening Beijing-Shenyang paired cooperation in the fields such as digital economy and smart manufacturing. The BJAST promoted its overall publicity through this conference as well as implemented the specific tasks of Beijing-Shenyang paired cooperation, bring out the desired effects.
