On 12th of January, the BJAST and Beijing City University held a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony. Fang Li, the secretary of leading party members’ group of the BJAST presided over the meeting. Wu Jianmin, deputy secretary of leading party members’ group and president of the BJAST, and Liu Lin, president of Beijing City University, signed the agreement respectively on behalf of the BJAST and the Beijing City University. 

 The BJAST and the Beijing City University will promote cooperation in the following six aspects: jointly carry out theoretical study on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and jointly write high-level and influential theoretical articles; Jointly carry out high-level talent training, employ our researchers as mentors of Beijing City University, jointly cultivate high-level applied talents; jointly explore the construction of scientific and educational innovation platforms, jointly carry out scientific research cooperation and apply for national and Beijing science and technology projects; jointly build an internship practice base, set up a joint instructor team to improve students' research and problem-solving ability; jointly cultivate young teachers, regularly hold forums and conferences and other academic, scientific research, and industrial exchange activities; combine the educational resources of Beijing City University and the advantages of the BJAST’s science popularization resources to carry out science popularization cooperation.

Fang Li pointed out that the BJAST attaches great importance to the cooperation with Beijing City University, and will carry out in-depth cooperation with Beijing City University in the fields of science and technology think tanks, science communication, commercialization of scientific and technological advances, and fully implement the agreement. By improving the working mechanism, the two parties should promote practical cooperation, and create a new model of science and education integration.
