• China-Israel Co-sponsor the Special Training on "Innovation System Construction and Frontier Trends in Start-Ups"

  • The Training Center for "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the center) of the BJAST organized and planned a special training on "Innovation System Construction and Frontier Trends in Start-Ups". The special training is jointly organized by the center and the online innovation center of the Hebrew University of Israel, the governing unit of the ZGC Global High-level Think Tank Alliance. Affected by the epidemic, the entire training process was conducted online.

    At the opening ceremony on 1st of December, Li Junkai, the director of the Center for International and Regional Cooperation, BJAST and the Training Center for "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Cooperation, and Itay Friedjung, the director of the Online Innovation Center of the Hebrew University of Israel, attended and delivered speeches. More than 40 people including experts, scholars and university students from 7 countries including China, Mongolia, Singapore, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, Afghanistan, and South Korea participated.

    The training invited Professor Dan Galai, a well-known Israeli economist and the chairman of Sigma Investment Corporation, Dr. Sharon Arieli, the senior lecturer in business innovation, innovation strategy and structure at the Hebrew University of Israel, Mr. Michael Mizrahi, the director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development and Research Department, Azrieli College of Engineering, Jerusalem, and Mr. Dotan Simchovitz, the founder of the consulting company "Office of Vision and Future Thinking" in Israel, respectively to make the speeches on "What can we learn from the entrepreneurial country", "Systematic innovative thinking: the basic requirements and three important stages of innovation", "Tools and Methods of Innovation Capability" and "Foresight and Future Thinking: Future Trends and Driving Forces". The training content was based on the successful experience of innovation in the country of innovation, Israel. The experts combined with years of research and accumulation in this field had enlightening significance for my country's current construction of an innovation-driven country, and at the same time help to enhance the technological innovation capabilities of countries along the “Belt and Road” and build a technological community with a shared future.
