On 10^th of November, Song Yueqian, the secretary of the leading party members’ group and the director of the Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs, led a team to the BJAST for discussions and exchanges, and signed a cooperation framework agreement. Fang Li, the secretary of leading party members’ group of BJAST, Zheng Huanmin, the president of BJAST, Shao Jinwen, the vice president of BJAST, Chang Liang and Zhong Yan ,the deputy directors of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs attended the meeting. Shao Jinwen presided over the meeting.

Zheng Huanmin introduced the reform and development of the BJAST. He pointed out that the BJAST attached great importance to and expects that the two parties would cooperate in food quality and safety analysis and testing, the development of high-end analysis and testing equipment, and the research on analysis and testing technology methods.

Song Yueqian introduced the development history, scientific research construction and practical application requirements of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs. He said that in the follow-up, both parties would continue to improve the sharing of resources and complement each other's strengths, and jointly utilize the strengths of both parties to make more contributions to national security and the construction of the capital.

Fang Li finally pointed out in his speech that the next step would be to organize scientific research forces, combine the actual application needs of the customs with the scientific research and development of the BJAST, give full play to their respective advantages, strengthen cooperation and implementation, and realize "1+1>2" to serve the career development of the customs.

Before the meeting, Song Yueqian and his entourage visited the laboratory of the Institute of Analysis and Testing of the BJAST. At the meeting, scientific research experts from both sides introduced a total of 4 scientific and technological achievements and conducted technical exchanges on future cooperation.
