The third session of 2021 the Institute Alliance of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Series Lecture — Special Event on “Think Tank Alliance-Israel·Innovation-Driven Development” was successfully held online on August 25th, 2021. The Series Lecture was initiated by the ZGC Global High-level Think Tank Alliance (ZGCTA) and jointly organized by the ZGCTA, Beijing Academy of Science and Techonlogy, and the Shenyang Zhongguancun InfoVille Technology Service Co., Ltd.. The special event enjoyed great support from the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Li Junkai, Secretary-General of the ZGCTA, Director of the International Cooperation Division of BJAST and Director of the “Belt and Road” International Technology Cooperation Training Center presided over the special event. More than 300 guests and participants attended the event and a parallel session of the event was also held at the same time in Shenyang. With the organization of Shenyang Zhongguancun InfoVille Technology Service Co., Ltd, over 10 enterprises from Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and China-Germany (Shenyang) High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park participated in the on-site event.
Ms. Guo Yonghong, Director of China Office of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Mr. Peng Xiangmo, Founder and CEO of Mathlevi Financial Education, China Partner of Cukierman & Co. Investment House, Co-founder of Yafo Capital, Founder of Israel Plan Organization (NPO) and Solomon Forum were invited to the special event and delivered reports respectively on How Israel Becomes an “Innovative Nation” and “Opportunities and Inspirations for Chinese Enterprises Drawn from Israel Innovation Experience in the Context of COVID-19 Epidemic”. The informative lecture offered a great opportunity for R&D talents, sci-tech management personnel, and the general public from China to understand how Israel develops into an innovative country and the development of Israeli enterprises under the global epidemic. It also brought valuable experience China can draw on, which have contributed to the promotion of scientific and technological cooperation between China and Israel, the learning from advanced innovation experience of Israel, and the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the innovation hub cities and industrial parks of Innovation China.
