On 15^th of July, the BJAST, together with the Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences and the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, jointly organize the second training session on the topic of "Anti-epidemic of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Frontier Development of Medical Health". The first training held on July 7 attracted the attention of mainstream media such as Xinhua net, and the number of news hits reached more than 100,000. In the second training session, more than 50 people including experts, scholars and students from more than 10 related scientific research institutions in Russia participate in the training online. Li Junkai, the head of the "One Belt and One Road" International Science and Technology Cooperation Training Center and Division of International Cooperation of BJAST, presides over the training.

The training invites researcher Wen Chuanbiao, the director of the Sichuan Chinese Medicine Digital Engineering Technology Research Center and the expert in the field of medical artificial intelligence technology, and Fu Ping, the researcher at the Institute of Nutrition and Health of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the director of the Nutritional Food Branch of China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, to give lectures on "Technical Methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine Big Data and Real World Research" and "Food and Culture: Chinese Medicine and Food Homologous Food".

The expert lectures combine theory and practice, set professionalism and popularization, and show that traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in contemporary medical and health care. The Russian trainees ask questions and exchange views, expressing that this series of special training has enlightenment for systematic recognizing and understanding the role of traditional Chinese medicine in epidemic prevention and control, the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and modern technology, and exploring the direction of cooperation in the field of bio-medicine.
