A few days ago, the monograph of "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Capital", researched by the capital's high-end think tank Beijing Decision-Making Consultant Center, was published by the Economic Management Press. The book starts from clarifying the requirements for high-quality development, analyzes the essentials of high-quality development, constructs a regional high-quality development evaluation index system supported by three dimensions: high-quality economic development, high-quality social development, and high-quality environmental development, and analyzes the high-quality environmental development of Beijing, the study put forward suggestions and countermeasures for China's high-quality development facing the 14th Five-Year Plan.

The book has made innovations in five aspects. First, it has constructed a "three-dimensional, six-characteristic, and systematic index system" for high-quality development, researched and put forward ten strategic trends for high-quality development in the "14th Five-Year Plan". The second is based on the connotation of high-quality development, research and put forward a number of strategic propositions for high-quality development. The third is to highlight the status of high-quality environmental development. The fourth is to build a regional environmental high-quality development evaluation index system composed of four dimensions: environmental quality, pollution prevention, resource utilization, and environmental management. The fifth is to analyze the mechanism of coordinated development of environment and health promoting high-quality development. 

Researcher Lu Zheng, a well-known economist and member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, pointed out that the monograph "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Capital" was formed on the basis of in-depth research on high-quality development issues. The book not only has theoretical guiding significance, but also has high application value to practical work.
