On 24^th December, BJAST hosted the China Association for Science and Technology "Belt and Road" Research/Training Center Project Experience Exchange Meeting. The meeting is held in the form of "online + offline".

Gu Yanfeng, Deputy Director of the China Center for International Science and Technology Exchange, Liu Qingjun, Vice President of BJAST, and Yin Lin, Deputy Director (presiding over the work) of the Division of International Organizations of the Department of International Affairs of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, attended the meeting. Nearly 30 project leaders and experts from 16 project undertaking units attended the meeting, and they were from a research/training center which was established by the China Association for Science and Technology and the "Belt and Road" national science and technology organization.

Liu Qingjun expressed the hope that the meeting can build a communication platform for the project undertakers to establish contacts and share experiences. The International Cooperation Team of the BJAST is also willing to work together with colleagues from all units to promote the "Belt and Road" international cooperation training projects to deepen and realize.

Yin Lin hoped that all units could continue to do a good job in the construction of the cooperation platform, accelerate the training and exchange of scientific and technological talents in related fields with more open thinking and changes, and promote the interconnection and common development of the "Belt and Road" countries.

Afterwards, the 13 project undertaking units, including BJAST, made thematic reports, shared the progress and results of their respective projects, exchanged experiences in the project promotion process, proposed some new ideas and new models for international cooperation in the post-epidemic period, and made an outlook for the implementation of the project in the next two years.

Gu Yanfeng pointed out in the concluding speech that all units should continue to give full play to their unique advantages in online communication, do more work in terms of organization, content, authority and leadership, actively establish a network of partners, strengthen settings and leadership, and actively mobilize corporate resources and strength, deeply dig into the actual needs of the "Belt and Road" countries and tell the story of China well.
