QIDE HAN is Honorary Chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, Dean of Academy of Science and Culture of China Association for Science and Technology -Peking University, and Director of Department of History of Science, Technology and Medicine of Peking University.

QIDE HAN is a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of The World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS) and Foreign Academician of American Academy Medical Sciences, U.S.A.

He once served as Managing Vice President of Peking University, Dean of Graduate School, Director of Medical Department, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 10th and 11th National People's Congress, President of Western Returned Scholars Association﹒Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China, Chairman of the 7th and 8th National Committees of China Association for Science and Technology, Chairman of the Central Committee of the 11th to 13th Jiu San Society, and Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
