On July 17, "Innovation China" Technology Roadshow No. 44 - International Technology Exchange Coalition (ITEC) (Nanchang) Russia New Materials Special Event, supported by Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST), was held, and nearly 100,000 people watched it through live webcast. Sponsored by the China Centre for International Science and Technology Exchange (CISTE), supported by the Jiangxi Association for Science and Technology and the Technology Transfer Center of the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, and organized by the Beijing Exchange Center of Science and Technology, Russia International Union of Instrument & ICT Engineers, this event attracted 8 teams from Russian universities and research institutes to participate.

It invited Popov Gennady Yurievich, Vice Chairman of Russia International Union of Instrument & ICT Engineers and Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Guo Lugang, Director of the Technology Transfer Center of the BJAST, to deliver speeches; and invited Huang Lin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Exchange Center, to preside over the event.

Introducing the background of the international technology transfer activities carried out by the BJAST, Guo Lugang said that the BJAST, as the supporter of the roadshow, and its international partners jointly invited Russia's high-quality project team to participate. Through this event, they want to further build a Sino-Russian international cooperation and exchange platform, promote exchanges and docking in the field of new materials, and jointly promote the transfer and transformation of high-end scientific and technological achievements.

During the roadshow, the eight high-quality projects in the field of Russian new materials were shown respectively. Five industry experts including Hu Ping, Professor of Institute of Polymer Science & Engineering, Tsinghua University, commented on the projects one by one, advising and helping the project cooperation between China and Russia.
