From the 22-23 August, the BJAST and Jilin University jointly held the 6th Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference in Beijing. Under the title of "Inclusive Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the New Era of Globalization: China and the World", the conference discussed the innovation-driven development in the new era of globalization, in order to accelerate the development of global innovative and entrepreneurial economy and promote the in-depth interdisciplinary, cross-field and cross-border research, education and practice of entrepreneurship and innovation conducted by various countries. Fang Li, the Secretary of Party Committee of BJAST, Guo Guangsheng, the President of BJAST, Yang Zhenbin, the Secretary of Party Committee of Jilin University, Tsvi Vinig, the foreign chairman and founder of the conference and the professor from the University of Amsterdam and other 300+ representatives attended the conference.

In the speech, Fang Li said that this BJAST Think Tank Key Sciences Exchange Event focused on the theoretical analysis, education and practice of entrepreneurship and innovation, and provided significant enlightenments to develop the international exchanges and cooperation of innovative enterprises in Beijing, accelerate the establishment of the "Four Centers" and build the National Science and Technology Innovation Center with global influence. Yang Zhenben said that Jilin University, as the founding unit, will always attach great importance and provide support to the national entrepreneurship and innovation conference. Tsvi Vinig highlighted the importance of the entrepreneurship from the view of technical economy era.

At the conference, Liu Yanhua, the consultant of the State Council and the former deputy minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and Dinda Sugita, the senior managing director of the Japan-China Economic Association made the keynote speeches. The BJAST and Japan-China Economic Association and Ben-Gurion University of the Negv, and the Beijing Research Center for Science of Science and Chinese State-owned Economy Research Center of Jilin University signed the strategic cooperation agreements respectively.

Moreover, the sub-forum focusing on the technology, system, innovation & entrepreneurship and other key topics of the innovation and entrepreneurship was held on 23 August.
