On August 19, the opening ceremony for the Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Base of the Academy of Pioneer Industries Technology of BJAST was held at the International Electronic Headquarter of BEC Group. Guo Guangsheng, President of the BJAST, attended the meeting and held talks with Wang Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the board of directors of Beijing Electronics Holding Co., Ltd. The BJAST signed a cooperation agreement with the Beijing Electronics Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd. The academy’s leaders Lu Yuguo and Shao Jinwen attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Guo Guangsheng introduced the reform and development of the BJAST, and pointed out that the signing of a cooperation agreement with the BEC Group to jointly build the Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Base of the Academy of Pioneer Industries Technology of BJAST is one of the achievements of the BJAST’s theme education entitled “Staying true to the original aspiration, Keeping in mind the mission”. The BJAST will further strengthen its cooperation with Beijing Electronics Holding Co., Ltd. and carry out more in-depth exploration in science and technology innovation think tank, talent introduction and international technology transfer to jointly serve the construction of Beijing’s high-tech economic structure.

Wang Yan pointed out that he hopes to take this event as an opportunity to closely combine the scientific and technological innovation achievements of the BJAST with the development of the Beijing Electronics Holding Co., Ltd., explore a unique mode of industry-university-research cooperation, and jointly promote the transformation and implementation of scientific and technological achievements in Beijing.

Gong Xiaoqing said that the scientific and technological cooperation with the BJAST is an important starting point and key channel for Beijing Electronics Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd.’s scientific and technological innovation. He hoped that the Beijing Electronics Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd. can get more support from the BJAST in the company’s future work. Besides, he hoped that the two sides can cooperate deeply in scientific and technological services and achieve fruitful results in the future.

After the meeting, the leaders of both sides announced the establishment of the Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Base of the Academy of Pioneer Industries Technology of BJAST, and went to the Party Building Activity Center in Chaoyangyuan and the SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. for research and study.
